KBR has secured a potential five-year, $49.5 million contract for maintenance and sustainment of automated hydrant fueling systems at 90 Department of Defense facilities around the world. The company said Tuesday it will help the Defense Logistics Agency by providing equipment and site support, program management, training, testing and maintenance services.

KBR has been selected by a Battelle-MRIGlobal partnership to assess project engineering designs and costs for a Department of Energy-funded research and development center for renewable energy technologies. Houston-based KBR said it received a contract from the Alliance for Sustainable Energy to perform evaluation work on biorefinery and biofuel projects at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory.

KBR has been awarded a five year, $92.6 million cost-plus-fixed-fee, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract to provide engineering, integration and sustainment services on counter unmanned air systems (C-UAS) for the Combat Integration & Identification Systems unit within the U.S. Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD). The service branch aims to deliver material and equipment at any location worldwide to help U.S. regional combatant commanders respond to contingency missions through the Army Prepositioned Stock-3 Charleston Afloat program.
