Siemens has collaborated with Haugland Energy Group to power a temporary COVID-19 care facility at the Westchester County Center in White Plains, N.Y.
MoreSiemens' U.S. research and development business unit has received a $6.4M contract to help the Department of Energy build a system to manage distributed energy resources. Princeton, N.J.-based Siemens Corporate Technology aims to create an energy management system that will use tools designed to increase the resilience of microgrids and facilitate autonomous power restoration as part of the Autonomous and Resilient Operation of Energy systems with RenewaAbles or AURORA project.
