The Department of Homeland Security’s Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency issued interim Trusted Internet Connections 3.0 telework guidance and Stephen Kovac, vice president of global government  at Zscaler, said the document requires cloud service providers to submit telemetry data to the National Cybersecurity Protection System’s EINSTEIN team, FedScoop reported Thursday.

Some industry experts said the introduction of draft guidance to implement the Trusted Internet Connections 3.0 policy seeks to reflect the move to separate the Department of Homeland Security’s EINSTEIN cybersecurity program from the TIC initiative, Federal News Network reported Tuesday. “TIC 3.0 isn’t here to kill EINSTEIN, but decouple it from TIC. I think some form of EINSTEIN will still need to exist," said Stephen Kovac, vice president of global government and corporate compliance at Zscaler.

Zscaler, Inc. has been added to the Department of Homeland Security Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation Program Approved Products List, the company announced on Thursday. 

Zscaler announced on Tuesday that Zscaler Private Access, a zero trust network access service, has achieved Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program Ready status at the High Impact level.
