Peter Burke Joins Neustar as Engineering, Operations SVP; Lisa Hook Comments

Peter Burke, formerly senior vice president and general manager of video systems business at telecommunications firm ARRIS, has joined Neustar as SVP of engineering and operations.

He will oversee technical, security, engineering and information technology operations at cloud-based information services provider, Neustar said Thursday.

Burke’s “range of experience and proven leadership skills will help ensure we continue to align our services with the needs of the marketplace,” said Neustar CEO Lisa Hook.

The two-decade industry veteran previously worked at Motorola Mobility as VP of product management and executive VP of product development at knowledge management services provider InQuira, which Oracle acquired in 2011.

He also served as CEO at Ceon for four years until its acquisition by Convergys in 2008.

Burke has held senior leadership positions at IBM and telecommunications company BT.
