A Client Solution Architects subsidiary has won a recompete task order to help the U.S. Navy’s human resources support hub manage Common Access Card services for naval personnel.

The award to Capstone falls under the Technical Services Support 2contract vehicle and has a four-year base period that takes effect Nov. 8, CSA said Tuesday.

Under the task order, the company will support the My Navy Career Center CAC program management office in efforts to implement “smart” card technology and integrate related systems into the branch’s shore base infrastructure.

CSA will also assist the center in testing, certification and compliance efforts associated with the personnel identification system.

“For the past eight years, and three recompetes, CSA has supported the Navy CAC Program Office in enhancing the use of and providing technical knowledge of smart card technologies throughout the Navy enterprise,” said Tim Spadafore, chief operating officer of CSA.

The task order includes three one-year option periods.
