SAP National Security Services has concluded its fourth annual national security summit with a focus on the role of humans in carrying out national security missions.
The 2015 SAP NS2 Solutions Summit featured discussions on cloud, analytic modernization, code cracks and cybersecurity, among other topics, SAP said Thursday.
“Technology in the cyber realm is rapidly advancing to stay ahead of evolving threats, and though we’ve made progress in that department, we often overlook the human element, the most critical aspect of our security,” said Mark Testoni, president and CEO of SAP NS2.
“It’s time we place the human element at the center of the dialogue,” Testoni added.
Industry experts who participated the summit include Teresa Carlson, vice president of worldwide public sector at Amazon Web Services; John Davis, federal chief security officer at Palo Alto Networks; and Carmen Krueger, senior vice president and general manager of cloud operations at SAP NS2.
