Exelis‘ visual information solutions business and CloudEO have partnered to provide customers access to the ENVI software via cloud to perform geospatial image analysis.
The companies said Tuesday the partnership will combine geospatial data and software with cloud’s computing capabilities to help businesses manage software costs, scalability and product development.
“Cloud technology offers our customers a new way to increase employee collaboration, create efficiencies, simplify IT management and improve organizational access to information,” said Stuart Blundell, general manager and director of sales at Exelis VIS.
Customers can also use the software on an as-needed basis, the companies said.
