The U.S. Army has awarded CyberLink a contract of an undisclosed value to develop customized tools for the military service to edit and process surveillance data from OH-58D Kiowa Warrior helicopters.
CyberLink said Tuesday the military branch sought a technology that can manage multiple video data formats in Windows military computers designed to run the branch’s Aviation Mission Planning System.
The company will create military-grade multimedia editing and processing software products for Army OH-58D reconnaissance missions through the contract.
CyberLink aims for the Armed Scout Helicopter Video Editor Product Suite to incorporate the company’s video data editing, photography workflow management, color grading and audio restoration applications.
