Army Eyes Iron Dome Missile Defense Tech Procurement
The U.S. Army plans to purchase some Israel-made Iron Dome missile defense systems designed to counter mortar bombs and other incoming threats through the use of small interceptor missiles, Reuters reported Wednesday. “The Iron Dome will be assessed and experimented as a system that is currently available to protect deployed U.S. military service members against a wide variety of indirect fire threats and aerial threats,†the service said in a statement.

Booz Allen Report Assesses Cyber Threat Trends in 2019
A new Booz Allen Hamilton report that takes a look at cyber threat trends in 2019 says states may employ capabilities related to information warfare to compromise companies and consumers. Booz Allen said in the report that state-linked organizations could identify new applications for internet-of-things botnets and that threat actors might come up with new attack vectors to take advantage of non-WiFi wireless protocols.
