Top government contracts won by Advanced Technology International, the public-service nonprofit based in Summerville, South Carolina proved beneficial to many. It is among the government contracting industry  that was awarded with a number of contracts so far.

Established in 1998 as a spin-off of SCRA, its goal is to help the government handle the country’s most innovative research initiatives. ATI’s expertise is built in serving the Department of Defense sponsors and identifying their needs and source solutions.

In July 2020, Advanced Technology International was awarded an estimated $450.4 million modification contract to manufacture large-scale antibodies against the novel coronavirus. The research, test, and evaluation were performed in Summerville, South Carolina and Tarrytown, New York.

In June 2023, the U.S. Army awarded an estimated $365 million contract to Advanced Technology International to render systems engineering and technical assistance services to support the Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training and Instrumentation (PEO STRI) under the third iteration of the Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance program (SET III). This contract’s technology areas of interest include information warfare, cybersecurity, robotics, AI, unmanned systems, and environment modeling.

In May 2021, Advanced Technology International secured a $99 million contract award to support the Navy’s Composite Manufacturing Center (CMC). Under the contract, ATI oversees the development and advancement of technology needed to build naval platforms using composite materials. Also, the contractor is in charge of the CMC’s operations and the transfer of systems to fabricators, which are important for costs and time savings in constructing and repairing such naval platforms.

 

Office of Naval Research Contract to Support the Navy’s Center for Innovative Naval Shipbuilding and Advanced Manufacturing

In August 2019, Advanced Technology International was awarded a $99 million contract by Advanced Technology International to improve advanced manufacturing processes at the Navy’s Center for Innovative Naval Shipbuilding and Advanced Manufacturing. The center will be used to develop and deploy technologies that will save time and cost in building and repairing ships and aircraft.

 

Office of Naval Research’s Contract to Support the Navy Metalworking Center

In February 2016, Advanced Technology International, under SCRA, won an estimated $99 million contract to support the Office of Naval Research Manufacturing Technology’s Navy Metalworking Center (NMC) of Excellence. The center mainly identifies, develops, and facilitates deploying solutions to U.S. shipyards and industrial facilities, particularly metalworking facilities, to save time and budget in building and repairing naval platforms.

Advanced Technology International is no longer affiliated with SCRA after ANSER acquired the company in 2017.
