Blake Moore, a 15-year Department of Defense veteran, has joined collaboration platforms provider Wickr as vice president of strategy and operations. He will oversee the company“™s strategy and help expand its presence across government and commercial sectors, Wickr said Monday.

Wickr has secured a potential two-year, $35M contract to provide a recall, alert and messaging service to all three military departments under the Department of Defense. The company said Tuesday it will extend adoption of the Wickr RAM collaboration platform across the departments of the U.S. Air Force, Navy and Army under a new contract with USAF.

Wickr has received a two-year, $35M contract to develop a suite of recall, alert and messaging applications for the U.S. Air Force. The San Francisco-based company will provide cloud-based RAM tools designed to help users manage protected files, videos, chats, text messages and voice communications, the Department of Defense said Monday.

Merlin International and Wickr have formed a partnership to help federal customers protect communications and sensitive data through the use of cybersecurity technology platforms.
