SOS International has received an intelligence technical support services contract from the U.S. Army to provide intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance support for its Europe and Africa command. Work will include providing multidiscipline intelligence analysis, ISR planning and integration, intelligence planning, training and exercise support, cyber network defense and systems engineering services, the company said Wednesday.

Chris Pateras, formerly director of operations at the U.S. Special Operations Command, has assumed the position of account executive for the Special Operations Command unit of SOS International. He brings to the role over 30 years of special operations experience and will be responsible for enhancing the company's intelligence, information operations, training and logistics services provided to SOCOM and its subordinate commands, SOSi said Tuesday.

SOS International has received a task order from the Defense Intelligence Agency to provide artificial intelligence and machine learning technology development services for the modernization of the agency’s data-driven decision-making capabilities. The company said Monday that it will leverage its scientific, software engineering and analytical knowledge to support the Missile and Space Intelligence Center to accelerate the generation of foundational military intelligence analysis.
