Leidos will provide the National Institutes of Health’s Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health with information technology support, development, design and implementation services under a three-year contract. The contract, awarded by the Department of Health and Human Services, has a one-year base term and two option years and includes the delivery of scalable systems in support of ARPA-H's mission, Leidos said Monday.

Leidos has delivered the initial round of Enduring Shield launchers ordered under a U.S. Army contract. Produced by the company's Dynetics subsidiary, the launchers are ground-based, mobile systems designed to address threats associated with combat cruise missiles and unmanned aircraft to safeguard civilian and military infrastructure, Leidos announced from Huntsville, Alabama on Thursday.

Leidos has awarded a subcontract to Stratolaunch to conduct flight tests in support of the Multiservice Advanced Capability Test Bed program of the Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane Division. The contract award covers five flights involving Stratolaunch's reusable, autonomous Talon-A hypersonic vehicles and optional payloads, prime contractor Leidos said Tuesday.

Four unmanned surface vessels outfitted with Leidos' autonomy technology have reached Sydney Harbor as part of the U.S. Navy's Integrated Battle Problem 23.2 multidomain exercise aimed at incorporating autonomous systems into fleet operations. Gerry Fasano, president of Leidos' defense group and a four-time Wash100 awardee, said in a company statement published Tuesday that the deployment will give "fleet commanders much-needed enhancements to maritime domain awareness, accelerating the speed and lethality of existing maritime kill chains."

Leidos will develop four Medium Range Air Defense Radar prototype systems under a two-year, $32 million contract awarded by the Marine Corps System Command through the Consortium Management Group. As lead of the new effort, Dynetics Group will utilize its sensor development knowledge gained from previous programs, such as the Marine Expeditionary Long Range Persistent Sensor initiative.
