technology, cyber, cloud, computerDell has expanded its digital business services on Pivotal’s cloud foundry in a move to help public and private sector customers deploy applications on Pivotal’s platform-as-a-service.

Clients will work to migrate, develop and integrate applications on the Pivotal cloud foundry in collaboration with Dell, Dell said Tuesday.

Raman Sapra, executive director and global head of Dell Digital Business Services, said the collaboration aims to grow Dell’s digital services portfolio using the Pivotal cloud foundry platform in order to help customers “fast track their digital transformation journey.”

Customers deploy their applications on multiple cloud infrastructures, modernize application portfolio and manage capacity requirements with the Pivotal cloud foundry, Dell says.

Pivotal also provides clients access to open-source platform offerings and built its cloud foundry with health monitoring and support for programming languages and frameworks designed to scale applications on private and hybrid clouds.
