Exelis will unveil a multifunctional electronic warfare system at a symposium Tuesday in Washington.
The Disruptor SRx EW technology works to respond to changing mission requirements in real time, Exelis said Monday.
“Disruptor SRx is an important milestone in the company’s long history of innovating to protect against evolving electronic threats,†said Joe Rambala, vice president and general manager of Exelis’ integrated electronic warfare systems business.
Disruptor SRx is built based on an open architecture in order to be compatible with different types of airborne, sea and land-based platforms.
Exelis designed the system for electronic attack, protect, support measures, intelligence and communications jamming operations.
The company will debut the technology at the Association of Old Crows International Symposium and Convention at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel.
