Science Applications International Corp. has introduced a new cybersecurity offering with the goal of helping clients secure enterprise data and reduce network vulnerabilities.

The CyberSecurity Edge suite works to minimize disruption to operations, prevent intellectual property loss and counter cyber attacks, SAIC said Tuesday.

“This solution provides maximum data security readiness and responds to advanced persistent cyber threats, multiple platforms, and unstructured data,” said Doug Wagoner, sector president at SAIC.

“SAIC’s approach takes the full data lifecycle into consideration to facilitate cyber resilience, mitigate risks, and anticipate the next threat,” he added.

SAIC designed the cybersecurity tool to find vulnerabilities and assess risks in a non-intrusive manner before it starts the mitigation process to address vulnerabilities.

The company also provides cybersecurity management service through a security operations center and on-site personnel to address the clients’ needs.

SAIC sought to incorporate “best practices” into the CyberSecurity Edge suite in compliance with the National Institute of Standards and Technology‘s risk management framework.
