Gerald Cohen: Information Builders Partners With Arrow to Extend BI Offering

Information Builders and Arrow Enterprise Computing Solutions have forged a partnership in which Arrow will market Information Builders’ business intelligence service offering.

The business computing provider will distribute Information Builders’ WebFOCUS Express offering, Information Builders said Wednesday.

Gerald Cohen, president and CEO of Information Builders, said the companies intend for the partnership “to extend the power of BI to a greater pool of potential users and ensure that more companies have the tools needed to make informed decisions, improve business processes, and boost revenue.”

Customers will be able to consolidate data sources and convert data into business insights using WebFOCUS Express.

Arrow will deliver a software-only version of WebFOCUS Express for IBM Power Systems running Linux and an Intel version running both Linux and Windows operating systems.

The company is set to distribute an IBM Power Systems Linux Appliance version of WebFOCUS Express in both North America and EMEA regions.
