Parsons Completes Mall Renovation in Abu Dhabi; Guy Mehula Comments

Parsons has completed work on modernizing the Dalma Mall in Abu Dhabi by using a fresh transportation design technology.

Parsons worked to design the mall improvements by implementing the diverging diamond interchange approach, the company said Thursday.

“The use of the diverging diamond interchange for this project is an example of a successful collaboration between the DoT (Department of Tourism) and Parsons,” said Guy Mehula, Parsons MEA president.

The DDI method was used to configure existing roundabouts and ramps leading into the mall.

Dalma Mall opened to traffic on May 2.
