Science Applications International Corp. has received a one-year task order worth up to $13 million from the Defense Threat Reduction Agency for sustainment and maintenance support for the Cooperative Threat Reduction program.
SAIC said Thursday it will provide support for the acquisition, storage, distribution, maintenance, evacuation and disposition of materials and infrastructure operations, assessment, repairs and maintenance.
“SAIC’s long-standing support to DTRA and DoD programs has allowed us to expand our efforts worldwide to support their CTR mission,” said Mark Escobar, SAIC’s senior vice president and general manager of the Defense Department agencies and commands customer group.
The task order was awarded through DTRA’s contracting vehicle for logistics, procurement, shipping, warehousing, travel and program support to CTR.
Work under the contract will be performed in various locations around the world.
