DynCorp International and British Columbia, Canada-based The Coulson Group have forged a strategic partnership to jointly offer aerial firefighting services worldwide.
The aerial firefighting team will provide Type One Air Tanker and helicopter services and operations to global clients, DynCorp said Thursday.
Jim Myles, senior vice president of DI’s DynAviation business group, said DynCorp intends to grow its offerings through the alliance.
Wayne Coulson, president and CEO of The Coulson Group, added that the team will work to develop, modify, test, maintain and operate aircraft units for combating wild land fires worldwide.
DynAviation has supported aerial firefighting customers worldwide for 20 years in countries such as the U.S. and Australia.
