Nonprofit Hope For The Warriors has appointed Greg Bowman, a senior executive at Siemens Government Technologies, to its board of directors.
Hope For The Warriors said Tuesday in a press release shared with Executive Mosaic that Bowman will continue his service to the organization after a five-year stint on its board council. Established in 2006, the nonprofit provides financial, career, educational and social support to veterans, service members and military families.

Commenting on his appointment, Bowman vowed to advance the organization’s mission of “ensuring no warrior or their family faces their journey alone.”
“Hope’s unwavering commitment to restoring hope and fostering self-reliance among our service members, veterans and their families continues to inspire not just me but our entire SGT family,” he said.
According to Hope for Warriors CEO and founder Robin Kelleher, Bowman’s extensive experience is “a tremendous asset to our board of directors.” “His long-standing support for HOPE, coupled with his personal insights on the transition from military to civilian life, deepens our ability to make a meaningful impact for military families and veterans,” Kelleher explained.
Greg Bowman’s Career Highlights
Currently serving as chief strategy officer and senior vice president at SGT, Bowman is tasked to provide company’s international customers with innovative capabilities. His previous roles in the firm include director of large integrated programs, chief operating officer of energy and infrastructure, and vice president of strategy, growth and partnerships.
The new board member is a 25-year Army veteran and last served as the strategic military law and policy advisor/legislative counsel to the Army secretary of the Army. Bowman held the job for more than seven years serving two secretaries and two acting secretaries.
