Defense tech firm Raft has introduced the latest version of Raft Data Platform, or [R]DP, which is designed to help the Department of Defense manage disparate and large-scale data.
The platform enables the DOD to gather, process and analyze information from various sources across a contested environment, Raft said Thursday, adding [R]DP provides military decision-makers with real-time insights and artificial intelligence-driven capabilities.
Managing DOD Data Landscape
According to Raft CEO Shubhi Mishra, [R]DP is a flexible technology that scales with the Pentagon’s evolving operational requirements. “Now, the DoD has access to a powerful platform that gives them the versatility, speed and reliability to take control of its data landscape and stay ahead of adversaries,” the 2024 Wash100 Award winner said.
New Platform’s Features and Benefits
The latest [R]DP release features a user-friendly interface and supports the use of machine-learning models for faster decision-making. It also facilitates access to fine-grained security controls for increased data protection and compliance across DOD environments. In addition, the platform processes data under 200 ms to provide the warfighter with immediate situational awareness.
[R]DP advances modern warfare with its scalability, AI readiness and edge capabilities. It permits data analysis and visualization for various operational environments to ensure efficiency and enhance decision-making across the DOD.
