Kim Lynch’s Wash100 Award in 2024
Kim Lynch won her first Wash100 Award in 2024 for leading Oracle’s public sector presence and driving cloud technology enhancement. Since she entered the company in January 2023, Oracle has seen consistent growth in the federal marketplace with new authorizations, product launches, and contract awards.
Noteworthy achievements include:
- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure gaining approval from the Intelligence Community to host Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information missions
- Introduction of the Secure Cloud Computing Architecture Landing Zone for the Department of Defense
- Securing a $22.3 million task order from the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency extending software access to Oracle’s software until March 2024.
Kim Lynch’s Professional Journey
Kim Lynch started her professional journey at Computer Science & Information Systems from 1997 to 1999. It eventually led her to the path to join Booz Allen Hamilton. With over a 24-year tenure in the company, Kim ascended in diverse leadership roles, ultimately assuming the position of Executive Vice President.
In January 2023, Kim Lynch started a new position as the Executive Vice President of Government Intelligence and Defense at Oracle.
Oracle’s Recent Contracts with the Federal Government
In 2019, the Pentagon awarded the Joint Warfighting Cloud Capability (JWCC), valued at $9 billion, split among Amazon, Google, Microsoft, and Oracle. Intended to furnish the Defense Department with cloud computing services spanning security domains, the JWCC extends until 2028. Thanks to this contract, Oracle achieved $900 million in cloud infrastructure revenue for the quarter of 2022.
Oracle’s cloud services meet government compliance and security standards, making the company suitable for government contracts. Oracle Government Cloud offers secure FedRAMP High JAB and DISA IL4-authorized services that create, store, and manage government data securely.
