Alan Lynn, a retired U.S. Army lieutenant general, has joined the advisory board of defense-oriented technology company Castellum.
Lynn, a two-time Wash100 Award recipient, was previously the vice president of engineering for Cisco System‘s emerging technology and incubations group, where he was responsible for the creation of new inventions in software and hardware, Castellum said Friday.
The Army veteran brings with him 39 years of technology experience from his time in the service branch. He served as Defense Information Systems Agency director at Fort Meade, Maryland.
The California University of Pennsylvania alum also served as commander of the Joint Force Headquarters-Department of Defense Information Network.
Castellum CEO Mark Fuller said Lynn will collaborate with senior management to refine the company’s strategic plan related to cyber and technology.
