Dcode, a technology company from Washington, D.C., has received a five-year basic ordering agreement to provide the Defense Health Agency and its organizations with various innovation-related educational and advisory services.
The BOA covers Dcode services such as horizon scanning, technology scouting and vetting, agile acquisition strategy and support as well as training courses designed to help customers develop tools for innovation, the company said Wednesday.
Dcode and DHA will focus on connecting emerging tech companies with the agency and promoting risk-taking and continuous industry feedback across the government workforce.
“We’re eager to continue working with organizations in the defense health space to leverage commercial tech and innovation for the purpose of improving mission outcomes and better serving Americans,” said Lisa Gaisford, government managing director at Dcode.
The award extends the Dcode-DHA collaboration that previously involved providing acquisition strategy and strategic outreach in support of the Workforce 3.0 opportunity and requirement facilitation.
It follows the company’s win of a separate five-year blanket purchase agreement from the U.S. Air Force’s AFWERX innovation-focused program office.
