Juliana Vida, a U.S. Navy veteran, has taken on the roles of group vice president and chief strategy adviser at Splunk where she most recently served as chief technical adviser for the software company’s public sector business, G2Xchange FedCiv reported Friday.
She joined Splunk in April 2019 and helped raise brand awareness and expand footprint in markets encompassing federal, state and local governments and higher education institutions.
Prior to working at Splunk, Vida served as VP and team manager of executive programs at Gartner for almost two and a half years. She also advised government chief information officers and senior information technology leaders as the company’s senior executive partner in 2016.
Vida is a retired naval officer who once held the role of the Navy’s deputy CIO in the Department of Defense. Her military career spans over 27 years.
