AAR has established a committee tasked with assisting the company's board of directors in ensuring safety across employee training programs and aviation services.
AAR said Tuesday that Duncan McNabb, a retired U.S. Air Force general and former head of U.S. Transportation Command, will chair the Aviation Safety and Training Committee.
Robert Leduc, most recently president of Pratt & Whitney, and Jennifer Vogel, an AAR board member and airline industry veteran, will serve as ASTC members.
“The ASTC is comprised of seasoned aviation professionals who will provide valuable oversight and guidance regarding aviation safety matters,†said AAR CEO John Holmes.
