PAE has been awarded a potential five-year, $98 million contract to provide electronic warfare operations training and infrastructure maintenance support for the U.S. Air Forces in Europe & Air Forces Africa, the company announced Thursday. Under the single-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract vehicle, future task orders are projected for sites in the U.K. and Italy.
“We believe that expertise and our dedication to continuous improvement practices gives PAE a competitive advantage with training and technical operations support services work, including this opportunity to support electronic warfare training missions for USAFE-AFAFRICA at locations throughout Europe and Africa,†said John Heller, president and CEO of PAE and 2020 Wash100 Award recipient.
In addition, the company received a five-year, $55.7 million task order under the IDIQ to support USAFE-AFAFRICA's electronic warfare range systems infrastructure in Germany and provide mobile training operations across Europe and Africa.
The new contract and task order will enable PAE to expand innovation and technology integration services for U.S. government customers. “PAE has built a unique set of skills and knowledge from decades supporting essential Air Force national security initiatives,†Heller added.
