Mercury Systems has unveiled a dual microwave upconverter the company designed to support an emerging technical standard for military and commercial sensors.
The SpectrumSeries RFM3103s offering is built to align with the sensor open systems architecture, facilitate electronic warfare system interoperability and integrate with multiple unmanned platforms, Mercury Systems said Tuesday.
The ultra-wideband device’s standard configuration features a pair of transmitters placed on OpenRFM module sites and allows for adjustments in frequency range, output power, instantaneous bandwidth and other parameters.
Neal Austin, vice president and general manager of Mercury Systems’ embedded sensor processing group, said the upconverter is part of a new series of radio frequency products designed to help customers address electronic threats.
