Keith Smith, a nearly 24-year veteran of Science Applications International Corp., has been named chief operating officer of technology and business consultancy Customer Value Partners.
His role is a newly created position and he will manage the Fairfax, Va.-based company's day-to-day operations, CVP said Tuesday.
Smith most recently was chief operating officer at professional services and consulting firm IHRC. At SAIC, his positions included senior vice president within the digital infrastructure service line organization and lead executive for the integration of large intelligence community acquisition programs.
CVP also appointed Chris Schwalm, former SVP of SalientCRGT’s health and civilian business, as executive director in charge of work with the departments of State and Homeland Security.
Schwalm will oversee efforts to deliver and expand a portfolio of projects and agencies in his new capacity. He previously held management and technical roles at Pragmatics, Cigital and Blackstone.
