Gil Dussek, a more than 15-year government market veteran, has joined Gunnison Consulting Group as CEO and he will also serve on its board of directors.
He will oversee day-to-day operations, operational execution strategy and organic growth initiatives at the Alexandria, Va.-based company, Gunnison said.
Gunnison President Debbie Hillard noted that the entire leadership team will work with Dussek as the company aims to create service offerings for the government sector and build up its market presence.
Dussek most recently served as vice president and general manager of the state and local, education, international and personnel security sector at General Dynamics‘ information technology business.
Prior to GDIT, he held leadership roles at SRA International and CSRA. He also spent seven years at Lockheed Martin‘s advanced programs, information systems an global solutions business area as a portfolio manager.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical, computer and biomedical engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and a master’s degree in engineering management and systems engineering from George Washington University.
Gunnison offers technology and management consulting services to the federal clients in areas such as software development, enterprise system testing and data analytics.
