Technology distributor FedResults has partnered with colloration software vendor Wire to offer the latter’s platform in the government sector as part of efforts to help agencies address cybersecurity challenges.
Wire developed its technology ito facilitate and secure voice calls, messaging, video conferencing and file sharing on multiple devices, FedResults said Wednesday.
The two companies kicked off a joint project to help a federal customer implement a cloud-based, pre-provisioned communication platform. Wire Red is designed to ensure business continuity in the event of information technology system breach.
The platform employs an open source architecture and offers enterprises the option to test compliance of the technology with security and governance requirements.
FedResults is headquartered in Herndon, Va., and sells IT products to the public sector through value-added distribution agreements.
