Verus Research, formerly known as XL Scientific, has landed a 10-year, $48M cost-plus-fixed-fee contract from the U.S. Army to provide non-kinetic test and evaluation services for electronic warfare, directed energy and nuclear systems.
Army Contracting Command procured the contract through the internet and will confirm funding and location details, the Department of Defense said Monday.
The Pentagon expects contract work to conclude by May 31, 2029.
Comprised of scientists and research engineers, Verus Research offers services in microwave system modeling, electromagnetic simulation and nuclear systems analysis.
