Six firms have landed spots on a potential $49M multiple award contract with the U.S. Navy for touch labor services at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility, Hawaii.
The companies will compete for task orders to provide electrician, electronics technician, sheet metal mechanic, welding, machinist, painting, and other technical personnel to perform the work required at the facilities, the Department of Defense said Monday.
Each awardee will receive an initial amount of $2.5K taken from fiscal 2019 operation and maintenance funds. Naval Sea Systems Command solicited for the contract online on the FedBizOpps website.
Work will take place in Hawaii through June 2020.
