U.S. Transportation Command is interested in collaborating with industry to build and implement a cloud-based virtual environment for structured and unstructured data management.
Transcom said Friday in a FedBizOpps notice it wants a system that can query and filter datasets with machine learning technology and visualize patterns through a data visualization layer.
Transcom noted that it previously used an "other" transaction authority to receive a cloud-based prototype developed to provide analytical sandboxes and support data integration and streaming processes.
A potential vendor must have a secret-level clearance to handle materials that will be used for the potential five-year project, according to the notice. The command plans to procure services through a contract with a one-year base period of peformance and four one-year options.
Interested parties can submit input until April 24.
