Microsoft has selected Agile IT to market licenses for a cloud-based software suite built to help the Department of Defense and government contractors manage controlled unclassified information.

Agile IT said Monday it will offer the Office 365 Government Community Cloud High platform to organizations that employ fewer than 500 personnel.

GCC High works to help U.S. agencies and contractors manage productivity, security and compliance with a cloud architecture. The offering is designed to address government-level security requirements through isolated data centers, controls and multifactor authentication that can support common access and personal identity verification cards.

San Diego-based Agile IT serves as a Microsoft partner within the public and private sector channels and offers Azure Government Cloud support services.
