Enlighten IT Consulting has partnered with Amazon Web Services in a push to help federal civilian and defense agencies store, manage and secure information in the GovCloud (US) environment.
AWS said Friday Enlighten IT serves as the prime integrator for the Department of Defense's Big Data Platform, and seeks to expand BDP’s features to include the ability to handle cloud-generated data.
BDP is designed to ingest, monitor and report sensor data to increase users' enterprise visibility through a single console.
The platform works to process cyber sensor data generated within the Amazon Virtual Private Cloud as several agencies look to transition their data and applications into AWS FedRAMP-accredited regions.
Federal customers implemented BDP as part of efforts to handle data processing functions at the petabyte scale within the GovCloud region.
Enlighten IT received certification in October of last year to provide managed services to AWS cloud users across the public sector.
