George Jameson, co-founder and president of the Council on Intelligence Issues, will moderate a panel discussion of the Bar Association of the District of Columbia on Wednesday.
He will lead the Reed Smith-hosted session titled “A Practitioner’s Guide to Balancing Government and Employee Interests in Disputes Involving Classified Information” from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Panelists include Shreve Ariail, deputy general counsel for litigation and investigation at the CIA; Robert Litt, former general counsel at the Ofice of the Director of National Intelligence; and William Di Iorio, acting deputy general counsel at the Defense Intelligence Agency.
Jameson established CII to provide educational services in the national security and intelligence areas and to offer legal assistance to U.S. intelligence community members.
He is a former senior CIA official and the owner of Jameson Consulting, which advises government and corporate clients on security-related matters. The 33-year federal service veteran also serves as adjunct staff member at RAND Corp.
