In-Q-Tel and Lilt have partnered to offer U.S. government agencies the latter company’s technology platform designed to translate source content in different languages.
Lilt developed a machine translation engine that vetted translators continuously update and works to help enterprises localize foreign materials, IQT said Thursday.
“Our mission is to make the world’s information accessible to everyone, regardless of where they were born or what language they speak,” said Spence Green, co-founder and CEO of Lilt.
“Empowering our public institutions to send and receive mission-critical information across languages is a fundamental component of that mission,” Green added.
A.J. Bertone, principal of investments at IQT, said the partnership seeks to provide a translation platform for government agencies to manage the flow of multi-language data.
