The Defense Threat Reduction Agency has issued a presolicitation to lay out its technical reachback operational support needs.
A FedBizOpps notice posted Thursday says DTRA wants potential contractors that could help develop weapons of mass destruction modeling tools and manage decision support analysis programs related to chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear explosives.
Other tasks include configuration management of research-and-development software; assistance in the development of science and technology software modeling tools; and R&D support to the technical operations hub of the Interagency Modeling and Atmospheric Assessment Center.
Potential vendors will provide such services to the Joint Staff, combatant commands, National Guard, intelligence community, office of the secretary of defense, the departments of Homeland Security and Health and Human Services, first responders, state, territorial and tribal agencies and international partners, according to the presolicitation notice.
