OSI Systems’ security division has received a potential two-year, $67M contract to provide vehicle and cargo inspection systems to the Customs and Border Protection.
The company said Monday it will supply the agency with Z Portal screening systems for deployment across border locations as part of homeland security efforts.
The first delivery order under OSI’s indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract is worth $61M.
Z Portal is designed to help inspection personnel scan vehicles at a checkpoint or screen cargo at ports.
