The contracting division of the General Services Administration’s Region 5 Federal Acquisition Service has commenced a market research effort to determine potential vendors that can offer an enterprise asset management system.
A FedBizOpps notice posted Thursday says GSA aims to replace its legacy systems used to manage government fleet, property and information technology assets.
The government seeks a platform that will work to identify assets and process data throughout the assets’ life cycle, according to the notice.
GSA noted it plans to award a firm-fixed-type contract to procure the system.
Interested parties have until Oct. 22 to submit input to the agency.
