Alion Science and Technology has won a position on a potential $980 million U.S. Navy multiple-award contract to provide training equipment, content and services to the Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division.
Steve Schorer, president and CEO of Alion and a 2018 Wash100 recipient, said in a statement released Friday the company has provided training systems to NAWCTSD over the past seven years and aims to help integrate disparate platforms into the service branch’s Continuous Training Environment.
The Navy selected 22 contractors last month to vie for task orders to design, develop, produce, test, evaluate and modify training systems through the Training Systems Contract IV.
Alion noted it has also supported a network of military weapon systems development laboratories and Warfare Centers of Excellence for 16 years.
