KBR‘s government services unit will compete for task orders to provide support services to the Defense Department‘s Joint Test and Evaluation Program under a potential 10-year, $900 million contract vehicle announced in April.
The company said Monday KBRwyle is one of six contractors that hold positions on the the indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract and seeks to help DoD identify strategies for the U.S. military to perform missions with modern processes and equipment.
Byron Bright, president of KBRwyle, said the business will continue to work with the JT&E program office in efforts to develop tools designed to address warfighter challenges.
The program aims to facilitate joint interoperability between systems and operational and technical concepts, as well as the validation of test methodologies, simulations, testbeds and models.
KBRwyle also plans to offer engineering, cybersecurity and intelligence services to the department through the IDIQ.
