A Kratos Defense and Security Solutions division has demonstrated a company-built jet unmanned aircraft system during a series of flights.
Kratos said Wednesday the flight series aimed to validate multiple functions that previous UAS platforms of the same category were not able to exhibit.
The jet UAS is currently under production and has been deployed to multiple clients worldwide.
Eric DeMarco, president and CEO of Kratos, said the company aims to support warfighters with the use of aerial drone technology.
The firm’s unmanned systems division manufactures target drone systems and tactical drones designed to function in anti-access/area denied environments.
