The U.S. Army seeks research and development information from industry and academia on electronic warfare technologies to support the Training and Doctrine Command’s multi-domain battle concept.
The Army said in a FedBizOpps request for information posted Wednesday the Communications-Electronics Research, Development and Engineering Center’s Intelligence and Information Warfare Directorate wants insight on R&D efforts that may address EW requirements for a multi-service family of systems.
This FoS will include future vertical lift and future tactical unmanned aerial systems, and requires EW technology capability for a timeframe covering 2025 to 2030.
Proposals must contain information on the technologies’ functions in electronic attack, EW support, direction finding and geolocation; integration with rotorcraft and UAS; estimated timeline of maturity; and size, weight and power.
Interested contributors may submit responses through June 22.
