A subsidiary of PAR Technology has received a potential five-year, $19.8 million task order from the U.S. Navy to operate and maintain telecommunications infrastructure at Camp Lemonnier in Africa.
Rome Research Corp. will provide communications services to the Global Information Grid facility under the task order awarded through the Navy’s SeaPort-e vehicle, PAR said Tuesday.
Matthew Cicchinelli, president of PAR’s government business, said the company will also provide the services to the Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa and the other Camp Lemonnier occupants.
The task order contains a one-year base period and four one-year options.
