The Informatics Applications Group has won a potential five-year, $47.1 million task order from the U.S. Navy to help the Office of Naval Research establish an information technology network operation.
Virginia-based tiag will also support ONR’s business process as part of the task order awarded under an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract, the Defense Department said Monday.
The order has a one-year base value of $8.2 million and work could extend through April 29, 2023, if all options are exercised.
The service branch will obligate $2 million at the time of award from its fiscal 2017 research, development, test and evaluation funds.
ONR received eight proposals for the order via a small business set-aside competition through a contract vehicle managed by the National Institutes of Health‘s Information Technology Acquisition and Assessment Center.
