The Washington Post has recognized Mitre as one of the top workplaces list for 2017 under the “largest organizations” category, which includes companies in Washington that have 500 or more employees.
Mitre said Monday that it has received the Washington Post recognition for the third consecutive year. Factors considered for the award include employees’ responses to statements about employee satisfaction such as as employee connection, as well as pay and benefits.
Julie Gravallese, vice president and chief human resources officer at Mitre, said that the company aims to offer a world-class organization for its employees as they attempt to address some of the country’s challenges.
“Our employees are our top priority, and we are grateful for this recognition as it reflects pride in our company [and] what we stand for,” she added.
