Parsons has secured a potential five-year contract from NASA to provide a range of engineering and technical services to the Goddard Space Flight Center.
The company said Wednesday the Facilities Construction, Engineering and Technical Services III contract covers engineering, construction, design-build, information technology and program management services.
“We are honored to be awarded this contract and continue our relationship with NASA Goddard,” said Carey Smith, president of the federal group at Parsons.
Smith, an inductee into Executive Mosaic‘s Wash100 for 2017, added that the FaCETS III contract will support NASA’s mission to expand space knowledge.
The FaCETS III contract has a potential ceiling value of $123.3 million and will support infrastructure maintenance efforts at the agency’s Greenbelt, Maryland-based space flight complex, according to a NASA press release.
Parsons has provided design, engineering and management services to the Goddard Space Flight Center since 1995 and the company added construction and IT support for the NASA facility in 2000.
